The Courthouses in Truro

The courthouses in Truro and Shubenacadie serve Colchester County, Hants County and East Hants. The courthouse on Church Street in Truro houses the Supreme Court, the Small Claims Court, and the Probate Court. The courthouse on Prince Street in Truro houses the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court (Family Division). These two Courts also sit in Shubenacadie. The Shubenacadie courthouse offers full-time staffing support for the Supreme Court (Family Division) only. Provincial Court in Shubenacadie is staffed only when matters are scheduled at that location. Please contact the Court in your jurisdiction for directions on filing.
