Judges Currently Sitting in the Provincial & Family Courts
Judges live and work throughout the Province, generally presiding in courthouses in or near the communities in which they live. However, the Provincial Court is a circuit court, which means its Judges also travel to and from their home location to other communities to hear cases, as required.
Retired judges may preside part-time, as required, until they reach the age of 75. The number of retired part-time judges varies.
