Members of the Judiciary

Judicial authority for the Provincial Court is vested in the Judges of the court, who have jurisdiction throughout the Province. Administrative, judicial support, and quasi-judicial functions are provided by Chief Clerks and their staff.

Judges of the Nova Scotia Provincial Court are appointed by the Nova Scotia Minister of Justice. Some Judges are jointly-appointed to the Provincial Court and the Family Court but sit primarily in one or the other. In the list below, the Court in which the Judge sits most of the time is show first (Provincia/Family or Family/Provincal).
