Justices of the Court

The Court of Appeal consists of the Chief Justice (who is also the Chief Justice of Nova Scotia) and seven other Justices. Semi-retired (supernumerary) Justices may also form part of the Court of Appeal at any given time.

Court of Appeal Justices do not sit on any other court and they have no previous involvement with the cases that come before them on appeal.
