Class Action Registry

The Nova Scotia Class Action Registry is intended to give lawyers and the public easy access to the initial filing court documents submitted with regard to class action lawsuits awaiting certification and/or already certified by the Court.

This Class Action Registry will be required under recent amendments to Rule 68.03 of the Nova Scotia Civil Procedure Rules made by the Supreme Court. Read Amendments to Rule >>

All class actions filed after May 16, 2012 will be listed on this page along with links to their related documents. Documents previously filed with the National Class Action Database will also be gradually added later.

Rule 68.03 will require that copies of documents in class action proceedings be sent to the Executive Office of the Judiciary. Copies submitted to the National CBA Database will suffice. Please send the documents to ClassActionNS@gov.ns.ca
