As consolidated with amendments

The Civil Procedure Rules govern proceedings in Nova Scotia's Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. The Civil Procedure Rules are made and amended by the Judges of the Supreme and Appeal Courts under the authority of the Judicature Act R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 240, s. 46

The Judges of the two Courts made new Civil Procedure Rules on June 6, 2008.
Work continues on Part 13 - Family Proceedings.

These new Rules went into effect January 1st, 2009 except as provided
in Part 19 - Transition, Rule 92.

Order In Council - determining the manner of publication of the Civil Procedure Rules.

Certificate of Publication - causing the revision of the Civil Procedure Rules to continue to be published online and certifying that copies of the revisions have been delivered.

Royal Gazette (November 19, 2008) - published Certificate of Publication.
